Site History
Mei Dah Han was originally created by adevyish to keep shoujo & BL manga-related links handy and share them with friends. Eventually, it expanded to include other Japanese things including a small lyrics section. However, it still doesn’t have a music rotation.
Hardcoded in an old version of Taco (and occasionally Komodo Edit) with reference to various resources, and validated using W3C. Robots.txt generated using Yellowpipe tools. Graphics done in Photoshop.

Added three translation sites: athena’s case files (Minekura Kazuya and Prince of Tennis manga, drama CDs, character songs), Junjou.org (Junjou Romantica, plus reviews and downloads), and monochrome (shoujo anime songs and drama CDs).

Added the mainstream shounen & shoujo scanlator Franky House and updated the link for Amber Love PJ (contains BL) to point to their current site. I also added online reading site AnyManga.com and manga-ka Miyamoto Kano (contains BL).

Hisashiburi ne? I’ll be doing several updates in succession as I have a large backlog. I’ve added Scarlet Carnival (contains BL) and Fateful Encounters, two smaller groups that mostly scanlate shoujo manga and are worth checking out. Also, yaoi scanlation group Naonoholics has moved here (contains BL).

Added the visual kei song translation and fan site Crysania, the BL scanlation group Vices and Devices (contains BL), and the doujin visual novel (i.e. fan-made games) translation group Firefly (contains BL). Also added the genre-spanning online reading site Manga Fox (contains BL and mature content) as well as the BL manga-sharing communities Boys Lust (contains BL) and Manga Luve (contains BL).

First of all, Mei Dah Han has a LiveJournal! So now there’s now an update blog and a guestbook to replace the tagboard that died an unseemly death.
Second of all, I’m sure some of you have seen this doing the rounds: help fight Tazmo!
As for link updates: all of the links have been cleaned up now! Music-related links now have their own page, which should make it easier to look for stuff now. I also added a number of sites to online reading and downloads – enjoy!

I’ve added a few sites from my extensive backlog, among them Challengers (a Takanaga Hinako archive, contains BL) and Asphodel’s Haven (Mirage of Blaze translations, contains BL). Also, Sakura Crisis has rescanlated a lot of their old projects, including the classic Boys Next Door (contains BL).
In other news, Mei Dah Han has a new page about Tenipuri sheet music books! Also, I’m working on cali≠gari romanizations, so there will be a spate of those up soon :3

I started this site back when it was really hard to Google for manga stuff. That’s not the case any more, so I’ve slowly lost interest in updating this site. That said, I will be doing a major overhaul in the future … we’ll see.
I’ve finally found kanji for some very obscure lyrics, so that’s been posted to Lyrics.

Sorry for neglecting this site (again!) asdlk;fjas SCHOOL. I have a bit of a backlog to deal with ^_^; Unrivaled Media Gallery has several Jump series for online reading.

I’m removing redirect URLs; they’re frustrating.
I wanted to find out what J-bands will be playing in my city. So, after much fruitless searching, I stumbled upon Morning Scene. It has tour dates for J-bands and singers, and even has an interview with ELLEGARDEN.
There are still a lot of links to add, but first, there’s a drama CD feature in the omake!

And no more Mamiya Oki bishounen D: Anyway, a few sites added, and I’m checking if all the links still work. For those who haven’t noticed (like me), Souhaku is back up.

Happy Lunar New Year! Not much of an update … I added a tutorial for reading manga on MangaVision. I’ve actually started working on a new layout, but I have midterms next week. How cruel. My school has a large Asian population and they still hold midterms the week after the Lunar New Year weekend, which I doubt a lot of people will be able to study through.

I spent all weekend toiling over an assignment, I didn’t even study for my midterms this week T_T Sorry for not updating quicker. I’ve added quite a few scanlation groups – I have no idea how I missed AtoZ. I’ve also added what’s hopefully a not-too-icky colour scheme. My IP has issues right now, so a few of the links may be wrong.

New layout. Originally, I was going to make a Komatta Toki ni wa Hoshi ni Kite layout since I had the artbook scans, but I got lazy. Instead, this layout’s from the awesome site Aethereality. It features Demian Syndrome, one of the first manga I read and one I go out of my way to download. Anyway, I’ve split up the site into a few pages now.

ShoujoMagic’s site is down, but I fixed the DGT link. I also added Nandeyanen under the downloads section. Nandeyanen’s Cafe Kichijoji de (Antique Bakery) and Love Roma downloads are being removed soon (due to licensing), so get those while you can! If you like them, support the manga-ka and buy them ^_^

Eep! I haven’t been able to change this site for three months! Sorry for all the wrong links. To make up for it I’ll put up all the new sites I stumbled over, including some music sites. (I’m trying to find a painless way to sort the scanlators by downloads, bittorrents or online reading, so hopefully that’ll work.) I’ve also changed my e-mail.
I don’t have records of updates before this point. Mei Dah Han has been online since 26 January 2005.
