A guide to reading manga on MangaVision

Sign up for an account

  1. Click on "Incrivez-vous" under the login box on the main page (which is on the right-hand side and labelled "Membres")
  2. Fill the info in. You only need to fill in the login (username) you want and your email.
  3. Click "S'enregistrer".
  4. You will then receive an email. Somewhere in the middle it'll say "votre mot de passe est:" and then your password.
  5. Fill in the login box with your login and password. If you want the site to remember you, check the "Auto-connection" box. Click "Entrer".
  6. To edit your info, see below. To log out, click "Se delogger".
If you get a message saying "Vous n'avez pas accès à cette partie du site, désolé", it means you don't have access to this part of the site. Try logging out, and logging in again.

 

Read the manga

Hover over "Multimedia", then click on "Scans de Mangas". When reading the manga, you can simply click the picture to go to the next page. (I was too idiotic to realize this -_-;;)

Rules:  If you ask a question that has already been asked:
- on the forum: the topic will be removed
- by mail: it won't be answered.

  1. There are no manga that have been licensed in French.
  2. The manga are not zipped for technical reasons.
  3. Don't ask when the next update is.

Terms

  • Séries en cours de parution = series in the middle of being scanlated
  • tome(s) = volume(s)
  • x premier tome(s) = first x volume(s)
  • Attention, certaines scènes sont à caractère sexuelle
    = Warning, certain scenes are of a sexual nature. Basically, don't read Haru yo, Koi unless you are 18 or older.

 

Also under Multimedia you can find artbooks, wallpapers (fonds d'écran), icons (divers), and a very large collection of music, which will require RealPlayer.

To search for anything on this site, use the box under the word "Rechercher".

 

Forgotten your password?

If you've forgotten your password, click the small link saying "Mot de pass perdu?" below the login box. Type in the email that you signed up with. Then click "Envoyer". It'll send your login and password to that email.

 

Changing your info

After you get an account you can change these by clicking "Partie membre" under "Membres", then clicking "Modifier ses informations".

  • Nouveau password = new password
  • Retaper le nouveau password = retype your new password
  • Email
  • ICQ
  • MSN
  • AIM
  • Site internet = your internet site
  • Occupation
  • Localisation = location
  • Date de naissance = birthdate. Careful! This is DD-MM-YYYY (i.e. day, month, year).
  • Petite description = a small description of yourself, max 500 characters
  • Changer d'avatar = upload an avatar, maximum 100x100 pixels and 10 kB
To confirm your changes, click "mettre à jour". To cancel, click "Recommencer".

You can also add your site to their directory, but if you had a site in French I doubt you would be reading this ^_^;;
