How to register and read manga on MangaVision. Last modified 9 Dec 2008.

Signing up for an Account

  1. On the main page there’s a Members (“Membres”) box for logging in at the top-right corner. Click on “Incrivez-vous” – that means Register.
  2. It’ll then ask you for some info. Fill in “Login” with your username, and fill in “E-mail”. You can leave the rest blank.
  3. Click “S’enregistrer”.
  4. You will then receive an email with “MangaVision” in the subject line. Somewhere in the middle of the email it’ll say “votre mot de passe est:” and then a bunch of numbers in bold text. That’s your password.
  5. Login using your username and the password in the email.

Logging In & Out

Logging in

  1. Fill in the Members box (at the top-right corner) with your login name and password.
    • If you want the site to remember you, tick the “Auto-connection” checkbox.
  2. Click “Entrer”.

To change your password, see modifying your account.

Logging out

Click “Se delogger” in the Members box.

Forgotten your password?

  1. Click the small link saying “Mot de pass perdu?” in the Members box.
  2. There will be an input box with a button saying “Envoyer” beside it. Type in the email address that you signed up with, then click “Envoyer”.
  3. Your login and password will be sent to that email address.

MangaVision Rules

If you ask a question that has already been asked:

Manga

  1. There are no manga that have been licensed in France.
  2. Manga zips aren’t available for technical reasons.
  3. Don’t ask when the next update is.

Anime Downloads

  1. There are no series that have been licensed in France.
  2. Don’t link to these downloads from your site.
  3. Don’t download more than one file at a time, or use download accelerators.
  4. Don’t ask when the next update is.

Reading Manga

  1. There’s a navigation bar across the very top. Hover over “Multimedia”, then click on “Scans de Mangas”.
    • If you’ve forgotten to log in, you’ll end up at a page that says “Vous devez être inscrit pour pouvoir acceder à la partie scan.” Go back and try again.
  2. Scroll past the rules to get to the list of manga. Click a title to go to the page for that manga.
  3. “Tome” is French for ‘volume’ – click one of the volume links to go to that volume.
  4. Pick a page to start on.
  5. When reading the manga, you can simply click the picture to go to the next page.

To search for anything on this site, use the box under the word “Rechercher” on the left-hand side.

If you get a message saying “Vous n’avez pas accès à cette partie du site, désolé”, it means you don’t have access to that part of the site. Try logging out, and logging in again.

Modifying Your Account

After logging in, you can change your account details by clicking “Partie membre” in the Members box, then clicking “Modifier ses informations”.
